The biggest problem is that we are still, in a way, invisible, because a lot of the people that have disabilities are not even able to leave their home or aren’t visible in the public eye.

And the problem is that people still develop shopping centres and so on without considering the people that, whether they use a wheelchair, or a service dog, or a white cane, or whatever it might be, they still develop shopping centres and venues not considering the need for accessibility and that somebody using a wheelchair or needing tactile paving, for example, to use the venue.

And so, there are still a lot of places being developed that aren’t accessible to persons with disabilities, not only people using wheelchairs and scooters, but other disability groups.
