According to my mother, on a fateful day which happened to be a Christmas Day, she served me food and went out to get something, leaving me in the house. We had a next-door neighbour who came at that point when my mother wasn’t home. My mother told me that the neighbour poisoned my food without me knowing.

When my mother came back, I could no longer stand up nor walk after I had finished eating my food. She picked up a broom to flog me, thinking it would solve the problem, but it didn’t work.

My mother later took me to diviners and they tried all they could, but none worked out.

To me, I am certain that my challenge is beyond any medical explanation. In fact, I believe that this challenge is an affliction from either our neighbours then, or any of my family members, either from my father’s or mother’s side. The reason is because when they have seen someone’s destiny or what the person might become in future, they will make sure they destroy and condemn the person. But I still believe that God will help me.
